hi there Mz

the unknown flowers are now numbered.

I think being a plantaholic goes hand in hand with taking photographs. I'm not a professional even though everyone seems to think I am. Taking photos also becomes obsessive especially when 3 friends have huge planted gardens. They all have woodland gardens, scree gardens, water/bog gardens, herbaceaus borders and 365 days with something to look at.

I shot a roll and a half today taking shots of 6 different colored Lesser Celandines, which I now own, and about 20 different Anemone nemerosa - the Wood Anemone. All when I should be working in my own garden

I really enjoyed #37 as well as all the others!

Thousand Oaks, CA

Well, I am NOT a flower person... but I recognize a few of those: photo 26 looks like a Calliandra species, 25 looks like an Ipomea (morning glory), 28 is similar to a Mimosa tree flower, 23 looks like one of those upright Heliconias, the Sterlizia is S reginae, # 48 is NOT a flower, but a female cone of Encephalartos ferox, # 60 is another female Encephalartos cone, though not sure what species it is (probably natalensis), 45 looks like an Aloe flower, 51 is the bark of Eucalyptus deglupta (Mindanao gum), and 55 is a bromeliad... possibly an Aechmea species. Does that help any?
