Tootsie, I am so glad you were happy with your stuff, I really wanted to put more, But, I was exauhsted ( As you know, I have been ill lately ) But, I was determined to get your box out!! It was emensly hot all week and I was not sure how the plants would travel, So, If you have any at all that didn't do well, You just let me know and I will send replacements ( And please don't feel bad about letting me know ok ~ I was paricularly concerned about the sneezweed ( Hellieum ) making it) I knew you wanted a painted gourd, So I just had to add that to the trade!! LOL!! .. I am trying to learn one step painting, I was hoping I would have gotten good enough at it to have you get the first one I've done, but, I'm not that good at it yet ( Hopefully in the future!) Anyway's, I'm really glad that you liked what I sent and "Your Very Welcome!!!"
>Evelyn, No Contest, I just happen to like putting a few 'home-made' things in my trade boxes, That doesn't mean everyone does that, It's just something that 'I like to do' ~ Sometimes I recieve boxes that have extra home-made thing's in them and sometimes I don't, But, I enjoy and like what I get no-matter what it is! It's 'NOT' just what's in the box that really matter's to me, It's the time and effort the sender used to mail it my way, Be it big or small, It would still be fun and I would still be happy to recieve it, So, 'No Contest' and Don't feel bad about what you sent, If I was the reciever of your package, I would have been happy with it!
>djm906 ( Doris ) ... Didn't mean to add you last here, But, "The Contest Remark" was a bit upsetting to me so had to see if I could straighten that out a bit.
I recieved your box over the week-end, But, Didn't get a chance to get on-line untill tonight ~ I want to say "Thank You so much" for sending the
(Blue)Agapanthus, Heuchera, Sweet Pea, Garden Mum, Carnation, Scotch Moss, Jupitor's Beard, And Red Amaryllis, They are all planted and will hopefully do well :)
Got my fall secret swap
You are welcome! I could'nt find anything on your want list, so took a chance! Hope they arrived in good shape. Hopefully you are in good shape healthwise also! Take care. Doris

I think you're right though.....I will dig up friday evening and mail saturday morning. But it isnt going across country.....
the deadline is Monday. or should be, did I goof big time??

"eyes"

Calalily,
Yes, I am sad. Just would hate
for you to go to all the trouble.
Honeybee

sue
Mine will be going out Sat. also...but I have a reason for waiting. Tell you after they receive it. lol
Donna
Sorry!
I didn't mean to carry on like I did. I just received news that my favorite aunt has just passed away.
I will have to travel to SoCal on Friday, then return and work all week. So whoever is sending plants to me "no rush"!
Thanks!
Evelyn
oh evelyn, I'm so sorry!!!
THANKS, tiG! :-),
I feel a little mixed up now, but I will be OK.
The trip will do me good.
Evelyn
I meant to post Monday, I got my secret package. It was HUGE. UPS brought it and DH called me. It had Iris, Mexican Heather, Feverfew, lots of stuff that I can't remember right now, but it was a box full!! Thanks Belladonna. It's a good thing we've had rain so I could plant it.
Great! I'm glad you got it all. Sorry if I packed it wrong?
d
:-) I got mine Eyes! I think I posted it on the farm page or something! I'm losing my mind these days, what with hawks flying around and just plain going nuts! I planted them yesterday. Unfortunatly the name tags were unclear, because of the soon to be gone boyfriend placing the whole kit and kaboodle in water! I would boink him on the head but he's missing in action again. Thanks Eyes!! Sorry I didn't post earlier....
digny blonde...

Glad you straightened that out tiG. I was thinking about waiting til Monday to mail out, but hated to be late doing it, was just gonna email the receiver and tell her. It's okay to mail on Sat. though? I thought everyone said it sits in the po on weekends. Had been wondering why you put 25th. Are you having early senior moments like me?
if a package is in the mail stream, it keeps moving on Sunday. The only problem is if it gets to destination on late Saturday (like if it was mailed Wed or Thur) and can't be delivered until Monday. But Saturday and Monday are wonderful days to mail.
I'm glad you received it Donna!! I'll clarify it for you.
You had a Jamaken Yellow, and a Ecuador Pink Brug, Butterfly Bush, Lycoris (red), Mexican Petunia (Tall), Tropicanna Canna, Richard Wallace Canna, Verigated Pothos Ivy, Alocasia, and some Double Purple Datura seeds. Hope they grow for you for years in your garden!!

Thank you sooooooo much!!! As I stood in my kitchen opening each and every pkg I was shaking harder and harder with excitment. First was the plants: Anthurium, Jasmine, Spider Aralia, and Rex Begonia. Then this adorable tool set for houseplants. That will certainly be useful!! Then the "goodies". A handmade card (did you do that?), with this cute gardeners pin, a Flowers Book of Quotes and Paintings, (I'll read that with morning coffee outside on the patio), a cute frog bean bag, and then (brace yourself) a brass frog SUNDIAL!!!! A sundial!!! Yes,,,woohoo!!! I've been looking at those for 2 years every time I went to Country Cupboard in Lewisburg. And now I have one. Be still my heart.(pitty pat pitty pat) A thank you for some reason just seems to lame and insignificant but I'll do my best to take care of everything.
And let me add myself to the list of folks telling Miss tiG Thank you for organizing this. I know from experience it's not easy. It takes alot of time and patience to accommodate everyone. Thank you!!!
