I wanted to bring this to the members' attention:
The Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust (Philadelphia, PA) is seeking tenants for 10 of the park's historic buildings, dated back to George Washington. In return for investing in repair of these mansions and other buildings, the trust is offering a rent-free 30 year lease. These homes have acres of gardens, too. You can get more details :

Wow - Trish what an opportunity for someone. Wish it was me but the timeframe is wrong :-)
What a wonderful opportunity for a handy person. I wish they would have had a program like that around here before we bought and remodeled our home.
Carol isn't that the truth and when we were perhaps that much younger with not too many responsibilities and an adventurous spirit ....lol
Wow -- awesome opportunity! Guess I could "separate" from DH........naww......I hate driving in Philly! :-)) Seriously, will have to spread the news, as this is just a too-good-to-be-true offer! Thanks for sharing!
