Gingerland can also be planted in full sun. Very rare for a Caladium.

In the sun, really? I just saw some of those today; now I may have to make another trip back to the nursery to get some.

I've been really enjoying all the caladium pics! I especially like the white ones...I got these a couple months ago, I had no clue of their name though..now I thinks it's a Florida Beauty!

Correction: I think they are Miss Muffets! (can you tell I'm a beginner with caladiums?) hehe

Thanks Eclipse - The Caladiums were just great this year! I planted about 150 bulbs in a nice shaded spot at my front door and I felt like laying down in them! hahaha

KatG, how lovely, I feel like laying there too, lol! Where do you get your caladiums? I've been ordering from "Caladiumbulbs 4 less" and I've been really satisfied with them.

I LOVE your caladiums! I have these planted around my royal poinciana in the backyard and I do believe there are more in my future. They look so stunning and different from anything else in the garden!

It is the first year for these bulbs and usually it takes a couple years or more for caladium leaves to reach this size.

I am thinking these will be very showy in the future.

The above un-named caladiums are White Xmas. I looked back (or up) this thread and I had a photo with them in it, but, they just don't look the same. Maybe it is maturity?

I have been collecting Philodendrens lately - distant cousin of caladiums.
