This is the same bug, actually, millions of them that ate my kolorabi last year and are eating my collards this year. I don't know how to get rid of them.

It's a flea beetle.

Thanks Sue. I'm off to search for control methods. It might be too late for my collards, but I'll gather amunition for next year.

Boy, that stinks when critters eat your leafy veggies! At least when they munch on flower plants or fruiting veggies, they're not eating the reason you're growing them!

Yep, it appears to be the crucifer flea beetle all right. Ugg! They just seem to appear, eat what suits them and they are gone as fast as they appear.
