It's about 5-6 hrs, a long day for a plant rescue, but it's got to be done!!! I'm sure it will be worth it, after all, I got my first Brug from Arlene (except for old yaller)last fall. She didn't know what she had started!! Now I am really getting addicted. I never thought then that I would be fortunate enough to see her collection & meet a real "Propagator". Course now I have seen Calla's too so I feel really honored.
If she can't pitch a tent for us - we can always sleep in the back of the truck, lol!!

Shirley I'm the same way. and I won't drive in FL at all. Have a bridge thing, I've been known to slam on the brakes and pull over! LOL!! We'll take plenty of pictures.
tiG, maybe you all could come to Iowa some time. Would love to meet all the gang. We talk about how bad the winters are here, but we do have nice summers. Again, have a great time and tell Arlene I said "Hi".
We don't have many Bridges up here tiG and the ones we have are covered bridges. Hint, hint.
okay, I'm going to make enough copper Tower of Flowers to get someone to drive me around and let me meet all my brugie buddies, that's all there is to it!!!!

Guys, i live 1/2 mile off a little county hard road, at the end of the little dirt road. i can't imagine living in a city. Newberry is a one red light town. Azalea, i'm not sure it's that far, i have driven from down town atlanta in 4 1/2 hours. then again i guess you know how far it is to florida, add 1 1/2 hours.
and do i have weeds! but i have some plants i really enjoy. looking forward to seeing you guys, should be tons of fun.

Azalea - I at one time lived in Florida - when I was in my teens . . . awhile ago
I lived in Hilliard, a little one light burg 30 mi North of Jax for 14 yrs!! A good place to raise our 2 kids, but not much future there for them. So we transferred up here just So of Atlanta, 25 yrs ago!
Hey, there ain't nothing wrong with driving in Florida, just that others don't know how, we just don't know how to vote that's all.
Arlene really does live off the beaten path, I just live down a dirt road. Better than the city any day, and I can say that with experience, I lived in DC for awhile.

Hey ,you guys are gunna have a great time,wish I could go with you!Arlenes brug forest has gotta be something to see....And Dee,my DH says you have permission to thin out all my plants.......I can't wait!!!!!By the way,UPS has a hand shake agreement on the contract so it looks like NO strike...I was kinda looking forward to some time off....Maybe now things will go back to normal and I can stop working crazy hours........
