Good question. I wanted to know this too. They come up every year don't they? Re-seed themselves? zone 7 me!

Great! I just pressed them into place and watered them. They are supposed to be all purple although I heard they commonly revert back to pink. I saved only the purple ones, but if they cross pollinated, I will just save only the purple again.
