We have T-shirts that read that the mosquito is our (WI) state insect- yep; we have Lots of them here, also biting flies and noseeums ( those tiny little flies that if you smile- you need dental floss to get rid of them-those are usually near lakes, ponds etc.) The first 2 lovlies are everywhere- bring along some good repellents.
Our state does have good things- don't forget those Farmer's Markets!!!!!!
