i bought this plant from a gardener on cape cod, massachusetts. where do i find the seeds? How and when do i collect them? should i wait until the end of the season before i stop deadheading?

if you keep dead headding you will not get seeds. on regular petunia they form a seed pod that is dry when the seeds are ripe you just break it off and chush the pod with your fingers to release the seed
Here's a picture of the pods http://plantsdatabase.com/showpicture/1280/ Troy is right - you won't get pods if you continue to deadhead.
the plant won't die because it is setting seeds?? i want it to continue to grow. it is about 2 1/2 feet now and it is ready for the trellis soon.
