i took some clippings off of what i would describe as a hibiscus bush. it has to be zone 6 or5 because i got it on long island at a burker king. :) The bush was about 8 feet tall and the same wide with beautiful pink hibiscus flowers. They are bark covered except for the leaves and buds. I brought them home and put them in some water. How would i propogate these cuttings?
thanks debi z
how do i?
Strip off the lower leaves and dip in rooting hormone and plant in well drained soil. I put a humidity dome over snips to keep them moist. I just use a newspaper plastic bag over the cup I start them in. Make sure you have a node below the soil line.
