I'd be in on a coop also; let me know. It would have to be soon though. Those of us in the north will be getting freezing weather soon. The tubers would freeze in the mail.

Eyes, Swan Island Dahlias don't even ship their tubers till spring, most growers wait till planting time before they send. So Paul not to worry they shouldn't have a freezing problem.
I was just up at the Canby farm a week ago before we had killing frost here this past week and they hadn't dug anything yet. They have warehouse that are half in the ground that they store all their tubers in. We will run up there again in the coming week to see how they dig all theirs. They have 50 acres, it is huge but oh so beautiful.
Paul and eyes, I have a brochure of a few that I sell if you want to see. Of course, I don't have nearly the variety yet that they do but eventually I will have more. This year I have 15 varieties. Joann aka lenjo

Would love to see your brochure, Joann. I know they said they don't ship until March.

Lenjo,
I would love to have one of your brochures too. I'll E mail with my address. My grandmother used to grow dinner plate dalhias every year and they were just beautiful. I tried them once years ago with no luck but would like to try again.

I would love a brochure! Will email you.
Also might be interested in a co-op.

If you decide to do a co-op run, include me.

- - and what is up with this "potential co-op?"

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Still waiting on Lenjo's brochure! They don't mail until March, but they have some beauties. I haven't even approached them yet. Did you get to go by there again, Joann?

I mailed it last Friday, I think, I had a few glitches, the post office said I needed an envelope and I worked a few extra days again. So I hope it is there soon.

I did get up there, eyes, about three weeks ago and nothing was dug yet. I would like to see how they dig them too. We need yet another trip up.

I am pretty happy with the Dahlia's I saw in Lenjo's brochure. -- I ordered a few and since I am new at Dahlia growing, I think that will suit me for now. Maybe I'll jump in on a co-op another time in the future.

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I also have your catalog Lenjo and will gladly participate in the co-op. Just let me know.
