I have aquired some Protea longifolia seed (a Chiltern's bargain basement packet) and I'm now worried about sowing them. I know they germinate much better when you use a smoke chemical disc which I will have to locate from somewhere.
My questions are; has anyone ever germinated Protea seed and do you have any tips for success?
