What to do in or near San Diego?

Okay - I'm "biting the bullet". Dh has to go to San Diego for a conference. I'm leaving the farm in my dd's hands for 4 days. Basically, I am only going to be in the San Diego area for 2 full days. Because I procrastinated on making this decision, I have to fly out on Friday and return on Monday. What is the best thing to do to best make use of our time in that area? We're not into amusement parks.

Well NJ there's a lot to do but if ya like animals,the San Diego Zoo for starters and it's enormous'

Don't know if the ferry still goes over to Coronado Island but it's a nice cruise' HTH Sis'
