Back from my short vacation

Wow, did I have a nice time on my short trip up to Washington. I've never been up there and it is truly beautiful. We stayed with some friends on Bainbridge Island and took the ferry over to Seattle for the day too. I had made an appt. at Herronswood Nursery to visit their gardens and it was well worth it. What a lovely and interesting place. They have plants from all over the world that many of us have never seen before. I saw, and bought, some that are new to me too. We saw some other nurseries that were really nice also.
I have finally experienced the "Peony"...they were all in full bloom at this time and I couldn't get over how luscious they are...wish we could grow them down here.

Now that my little trip is over, all I have to look forward to is my new grandson to be born. My DD is due on July 7th, or there about. She is only 4'll" tall and her belly is about the same size around...lol. She is very uncomfortable right now and also came down with a cold yesterday. She is ready to have it NOW...she says the baby is "cooked" and wants it done now!!!

I'll let ya'll know when the time comes...or you might be able to hear me hallor if you listen carefully. hehe

I am posting a picture of her taken 2 weeks ago, in the Parking lot.

so glad you had a good time! your DD sounds like mine, I hope she doesn't come out of this covered in stretch marks, those teeny girls have a hard price to pay when they get pregnant.
I know you're getting excited about that grandbaby, and we'll be waiting with you! are you going to be there when he comes?
