Oh, Janice. I'm crying with you - I wondered if that wasn't the problem. I started to say something about the orange syrup, but thought better of it. Are they giving you guys an estimate of how much time you'll have with him? I can't imagine - I see my parents getting older, and I can't bring myself to deal with it. But even though I haven't been where you are, I'll be glad to listen anytime you need to talk!

Yep. The only thing I can see in it is at least you know to make the most of these next few days. Hang in there.....

Hi Janice,
My heart and prayers are with you and your family. Give your dad a hug.

I lost the greatest man I've ever known three days before Christmas -- my father-in-law. He did the chemo & radiation therapy and was given 2 months; he made it nearly a year. He was waiting for me to get there, but he just couldn't wait four more days. I recall being kind of "mad" at him for not waiting for me to tell him one more time how much I love him, how much I was going to miss him, and most of all thank you again for being the man he was.

May the Lord cradle you in His loving arms.

Janice, My heart breaks for you I lost my mother to cancer many years ago and my dad to cancer recently. It is such a terrible disease. I will be remembering you and your dad in my prayers. I will pray that the Lord will comfort and guide you through this awful period of your life and that He will be with your precious father throughout this terribly difficult time in his life. Hold tight to His hand through it all and He will not leave you or forsake you. My prayers are with you. Elena

Hi Janice,

I lost my dad ten years ago to cancer. He fought it for three years. It was a difficult time for all of us. I know how you feel. Just make sure he knows how much you love him, no matter how much time he has left.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers,
Sharon
