cuttings from fuschias??

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

I was at Walmart last night helping my sister pick out plants, when I came across a fuschia that had seen better day, but it was the only red/purple one, It was pretty splindly, and just not something you'd pay much money for, it was marked for 14 something, and after looking it over I walked away, well later on in our shopping expedition, one of the workers was marking down stuff and I asked her if she would mind coming to the fuschia section and taking a look at this particular plant that was on it's last legs, and sure enough she marked it down 50%, still 7 bucks and change. So I bought it, now Im wondering if i made a mistake, or if I can in fact get it to bush out??
anyone have any ideas with this? other than giving it lots of fertilizer, should I pinch back, or take cuttings of the long stems and put them in the center of the pot???

HELP PLEASE....

thanks for you help

Fuchsia root easily. Take your snips and put them in potting mix and cover with a baggie to keep the humidity in. They sould start sprouting and you'll know they are ready. You can also stick them in the pot, but the success rate will be less. I took snips in Mar and had enough for 2 new pots this week.

I agree, they are easy. I use Shultz root starter and stick them in vermiculite and /or sand.
