Hi,
Can anyone tell me if these will bloom the first year planted? I've heard you have to wait 2 years.... also what's the specifics on planting them....i.e. cold first...? or don't cover or how?
TIA,

Clematis Seeds
Do you know what kind of clematis they are? Most of them need a prolongled cold period to germinate. I have some that I planted and put outside in mid winter. Haven't seen any life yet but I'm hoping soon.
The clematis with little yellow bells.... I forget the name... germinates easily without any cold treatment. They bloom the first year too.
There's good information about germinating clematis seeds at this link
