wearing my shorts again for the first time this year...Whoopee! Feeling the grass under my feet. And not having to wear tights and slips and shoes and trousers and sweaters and coats!!!!! Get the shorts on and let it all hang out.......lol :-)

I agree wholeheartedly! Freedom for me has been walking up to my garden without walking over 2' drifts (and falling in repeatedly). Or sitting outside on dry grass with my little girl. :)

.....laying in the hammock doing absolutely NOTHING.

.....being able to work outside without getting mud all over me.

.....waking to the sounds of Cardinals and Woodpeckers at dawn.

.....being able to leave the windows open all night and being serenaded by the crickets and hoot-owls.

Well - I should have kept my mouth shut!!! Storms, rain and low temps forecast in the next few days. Not that I don't love the rain because I do. Just hope no-one is getting flooded out of their homes! The birds and squirrels are loving it and the grass has greened up making for plenty food at last for the hungry deer and their fawns. It's been a long winter for them. This overcast weather is fitting for this time of the year. It is Holy Week after all. God bless :-)
