Would someone please give this computer dummy a lesson on how to use the chat room. How do you change chanels, how do you know when someone else has come on, etc.? Just didn't know quite what was going on so I had to leave the chat room quickly. I have obviously never done the chat room bit before and am really confused. There have to be others who are staying away because they aren't aware of the situation either. HELP!

Hi Elena,

On the top of the page, there is a pulldown menu that shows the available channels. You can select a channel there. You always start on the main channel. On the right hand side, you can change the font size so it's easier for your viewing. Below that there is a button lableled "who is On". When you click on it, a list will show up in the discussion area. Below that, there is a button that will list the channels. When you click on that, it will show you in the discussion area who on what channel. Then there is the log off button. To enter messages, you should see a space at the bottom to type messages. Click enter to send the message. I have also posted a thread here in the general forum that has links to emocons and acroynms if you need them. I hope this helps you.

I was hoping someone would come on and tell me what the heck I was supposed to do . You are a sweetie, thank you. I will try again and maybe this time I won't have to appear rude by just leaving. I at least figured how to leave. ha!Yes, I discovered that list last night and am going to make a hard copy of it. Then I should be set to go. Thanks Sharon.
