I just got a notice from photopoint that starting in May they'll no longer be a free service. Too bad ... I know a lot of people keep there garden pictures there.
Photopoint
PoppySue, Snapfish is another online photo service. They've recently raised their rates (they were $1.69 per roll which included s/h), and now I think they're about double that - still very reasonable to develop a roll of film, get your prints and maintain your online photo album.

I am another Photopoint user who is casting about for other venues. One awesome site is http://www.picturetrail.com. It is less complicated than Photopoint, and has the added features of being able to upload midi files from your computer (if you like music to muse by), and creating albums that are a bit more interesting, as well as faster loading. I don't think they have "unlimited" storage; but if it comes to money as a requirement, I would eventually rather put my money here.

I'm with them too but will leave my photos there until my own site is finished. at the moment it is getting about 80 hits a day

I use WEBSHOTS it is free and each "album" holds 36 pictures. No limit to the number af albums you set up. Albums can be made public or private and as an added bonus you can use the photos you like best as a desktop wallpaper and screensavers and change them whenever you like.
