:-)

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Don't punish yourself too much Eclipse. It's an addiction... you can't help yourself!!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Eclipse don't slap you hand just bring them and put them in my yard. lol

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I need more hibiscus also. Only have 10 or 12, just ordered two from Logees, The Path and Estelle.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

We will be your support group. I think we can get you through this. :-)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

So don't keep us in suspense! What other neat plants?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I think as punishment you should send me the neatest hibiscus that you bought, lol.
I'm guilty too. Looks like I could be happy with what I have, but no, I had to go to Kartuz's webpage and print out the order form.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Cala, the first step on a slippery slope. Better hide your charge card on yourself. LOL

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

We should start a P.A.A. support group....PLANT ADDICTS ANONYMOUS.....LOL we could stand up and introduce ourselves and say things like...."Hi I'm Kyle..I'm a secret plant addict..and I CAN'T STOP!!!!!!!" **SOBBING Uncontrolably*** LOL LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hi, I'm Shirley. I'm addicted to plants, but my biggest problem is that I CAN'T QUIT taking cuttings. I need help here. Great idea Kyle. We could sit around and feed each other's plant egos.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

:-) and each others plants!!!LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hi I'm Cala and I can't leave the seed pods alone. I now own stock in New Skin. I, like Brugie, can't stop taking cuttings. I only took one today. I did break an alsromeria, wonder if the cuttings will root? I didn't throw them away.

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Hi, I'm Anna and I'm addicted to plants also. "Bad, bad Anna", she bought almost $100.00 worth yesterday. And weather too cold to even plant them outside, had frost the last 3 nights. This is not natural. The frost, not the plant addiction. Then to top it all off, my kids gave me a gardenia for Mother's Day last week, it's a nice big plant. And the label says, "Gardenias are very difficult to grow.........." Oh, Jeez, I hope don't kill it.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Hi, I'm tiG. and I can't afford plants anymore, having gone crazy already. Now I'm addicted to buying potting soil ingredients. I walk by the pretty flowering things, and just sigh, knowing that I have to come home with just ugly bags of compost to take care of the things I already have. I can't drive over 20 mph, for studying people's yards and what they've done right, and trying to memorize it.
I love a trash pile, I might get a pot or something to use as a trellis.
I have a boxful of seeds that has no bottom, and yet I eye the seed racks at the store enviously!
and yet, there's that .... I've been wanting, and trying to figure out how to sneak it into the nursery bed so that DH won't see it.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Hi ,I'm crestedchik, and I am a plantaholic...My Dh will drive 5 miles out of the way to avoid going by a plant place ,just so he doesen't have to listen to me wimper as we speed by,He's become so use to me crying "stop the truck" as he unknowingly drives by a plant stand, that he doesen't even flinch anymore.....As he finally caved in and decieded I needed a greenhouse to house my addiction I quietly brought up the idea of a second GH since there is NO WAY one is going to be big enough,I plan my outings based on where the Nurserys are,I go to Nascar races and don't buy my teams souveneirs,I go plant shopping in what ever town we are in......so far Charlotte is my favorite track.......

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Sayyyyy, if we are going to have a PA group, what say we have a meeting soon...........in a greenhouse, of course. If you want to wait till mine is finished, you can meet here, as it will be big enough for everyone here. 30x120!!!! Won't have plants in it till Sept. so we can have lots of summer meetings. Sound like a plan?? Oh, and I'll provide refreshments, I love to bake cookies and bars and cakes and cheesecakes. I don't do salads, tho, so if anyone wants salad, they will have to bring it. :>)

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I to have become a plantaholic. I find myself stopping and buying new things from here and there. Hopefully will give me some trading power soon for those I gotta haves. It has become a therapy treatment for me. My mom is not expected to live much longer and and my dad is not doing well either. Helps take your mind off things if just for a little while.

Hamilton, Canada

I'm still in denial.

Joydie

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Kyle, it's the little in pleasures in life that keep us sane. Look at it this way.....plant addiction or drug addiction...I will take the plant addiction any day.
And yes, I too am addicted, to the point where I have no room for another plant in my beds, can't really enlarge them any more, and I still find things that I bring home.
It amazes me how in just 2-3 seasons I have amassed so many plants, I can't believe it.
I started out with 3 black eyed susans plants, I now have them all over, I started out with 3 butterfly bushes, I now have about 9-10 large ones, and 3 huge huge ones (taller than the house) and a million starts....

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

pebble....yu addicted GIRL!!!!! LOL :-)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I forgot to mention that the only reason we own a garden center is to support my habit. I've found that several of the other nursery owners in the area have the addiction as badly as I. We go to each others green houses and want to see the "restricted" areas, lol. That's where the good stuff is. One owner sends a man around with the "good stuff" to trade. At meetings of the TFGA where there is a silent auction, we scope out everything and decide what each of us will bid on and then split the loot!!!

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

....just wanted to let yall know that I was with Cala on one of her seed/cutting collecting "adventures" and she has no shame to where she hides seeds or cuttings......heh, heh

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh my, where is GW. I need her to help me out here, lol.

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

oh yeah, sure, pass the buck on her...i was there..i saw...giggle

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

was she pinching pods???

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

it was uglier than that cc

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hee hee, I still have a little piece of that plant. CC, it was a cutting(or several) and I didn't have any pockets so GW reluctantly "carried" it for me for a while. We got so busy looking at the flowers and other things, we forgot about it and it got a little squished. We laughed all the way back to the motel.(except Lisa didn't laugh, but that's another story)

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

go ahead cc...ask her why cuttings were falling out of their britches...(editors note:notice she said they didn't have pockets)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Lisa, I definitely owe you one for this!!!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

LOL lisa....I can only imagine.....you've set our imaginations on a wild wild scenario...

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

well, put it this way, if she offers cuttings of her Coleus, I'd pass on it. (love ya cala..he, he)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thats my problem too. I run my little nursery only to be able to pay for my, in the meanwhile expensive hobby - breeding Brugmansias!. We got the 8 x 4 GH set up, so all my seedlings have lots of space and warm. Hope most of them they will be thankful and bloom this year.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Hi, I'm Dee and I'm a plantaholic. I travel alot and just can't passing up the opportunity to shop for plants. While others are looking for the malls or places to eat and things to do I have the yellow pages out with maps and looking for nurseries. Most people have 2 pieces of luggage, I only carry one, well sorta, the box of plants makes up the second piece of luggage. sigh, but on the bright side it could be a worse habit.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Dee, I do that too. When we get to a new town, I grab the yellow pages and start looking for nurseries.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Never thought of that...DUh,I just drive around,if I cant find one I go to Home Depot...lol

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

I just don't think there is any hope for us. I am off to CA next week. Will be out the till 6 Jun. Plan on lots of plant shopping, made some deals with my girls, 1 outlet mall for the rest of the week plant shopping, well I'm the mom aren't I. I will be going down to San Diego to where Gloria went. DD live only about 45 minutes from there. Taking 1 suitcase, and you got it, bringing back 2, hehe.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I love to go to Home Depot, especially in the south. They have more tropical plants.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

You ought to see the plant they have here at home depot. I have been eyeing it for the last 2 weeks. They call it a red Justicia, and is it ever pretty, and does kinda look like the pink and white, but this puppy is about 8 ft tall. DH is going to Charlotte for the race tomorrow, hum, maybe I can buy it tomorrow after he leaves and stick it in the yard where he won't notice it. I will be gone when he gets back, if he finds it that is time enough to cool off and me think of some reason other than I just had to have it. Price tag $39.99, sigh

Dee,
Yes, buy it and start me some of it. LOL Don't you like the way I help spend your money? LOL

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Me toooooooo!!!!!
