If you don't find the ones you want, I have regular maple seedlings that you're welcome to. This will be their second season.

thanks cheryl_il, i have a couple of red ones that are doing pretty good. but this crimson one is really quite pretty. its leaves stay a dark burgandy or maroonish color all season.

what kinds of maple do you have.

DH thinks "regular ol red maple." The leaves are green during the summer. These are just a few of the seedlings that I decided not to pull before my neighbor cut down his tree.

We have a bigger one in front of our house. When DH bought a "red maple" years ago he thought he was getting the one that stayed red. Little did he know he'd be plucking the neighbor's seedlings for years...
