Someone sent me some Penny Black Seeds, I'm not sure of the spelling of the latin name. Can anyone tell me how to propagate them? How deep to plant? Do they need sun to get them to spout? Any info would be appreciated.
Pennie Black - neolophilia (?)
Its Nemophila menziesii 'Penny Black'... a black veriety of baby-blue-eyes. Here's a link http://www.gardenguides.com/flowers/annuals/babyblue.htm
What you actually have is Nemophila. From the database:Nemophila HA 7-21 days to germ @ 55 Well drained soil. Cover with 1/16" Can be sown in situ.
Wow, that was fast! Thanks so much y'all. I am starting them right now!!
