Patty, do you ride horses and work them on your farm ?.
Sunday 1st April
No Patty - you have got the wrong end of the stick - it was flavoured with a pink vanilla extract. It wasn't anything to do with the animals milk. Do you understand? I'm sorry if it upset you. I should have made it plain.
Hi who is still around? Alan are you still in? Patty? Sorry I missed Mary. Looks like you folks were busy today! Lisa
Hello Lisa, how are you.

Hi,I'm ribbitcat & I came because Alan & Sheila told me to.Thank you all for your warm welcome.I have plans for Alan because I'm looking for a rich man with 1 foot in the grave & the other one on a banana peel.lol
I don't like cows, they're a lot bigger than what you'd think, their noses are really dripping with snot all the time;bad enough that kids are like that .... lol
May not come back here tonight, going to explore the other corners of dave's.
patty, so when you need to milk the cows you just walk them in then ?, or do you use dogs too.
Louisa, yeh, i dont like them either, make me feel sickly.
Hi Alan, I am very full at the moment thank you! I ate soooo much today. Shame on me! Marg, thanks for the pics! Lisa
Lisa, you been putting a few pounds on today then, what was this bash you went to ?.
Welcome ribbitcat! Lisa
Gosh Patty, you had me going then! I would never have upset you like that you know and we would never have been served milk in that state either. Im so glad that's cleared up!! Lisa, hello - did you get my thankyou note! Your card was such a lovely surprise and the cat in the picture just looked like my Brandy. Hi ribbitcat, heck thats a mouthful .....so happy to see you here. I know Norwich very, very well and most of the pubs there also :-)

Alan, no big bash, my husband had a good week of work. We spoiled ourselves today along with our neighbors. We boiled some crawfish. Down here that is a BIG deal. It always means good food and good company. It was a beautiful day today. High 70's and low humidity, which is rare for us. It was wonderful. Yes, I think I put on more than a FEW pounds! LOL! Lisa
Hello ribbitcat, Louisa, told you she has plans for me, lol, not enough to feed me to the knats, i have to break my blasted neck on a banana skin too.
I've never eaten crawfish Lisa, sounds quite a treat by your reckoning! I cooked roast chicken today, with greens, carrots, roast potatoes and stuffing. Banana pudding for desert! Ummm!
Patty, Crawdads are just so good. If you've ever eaten some done right...man oh man! It puts King Crab and Lobster to shame! We just love em down here. Lisa

Louisa, I got your note! :-) Thank you! Lisa
Louisa, we do grow Bougs. down here. They can be overwintered in the ground, with little protection. They thrive here.

Cant say i have ever eaten craw fish either, whats it close to ?.
louisa, you may know the pub ribbitcat works in, thats why shes late in tonight.
I don't think they would survive in this zone but I was thinking of growing one in the sunroom along with other flowering plants. African daisies come to mind (osteospermums). Alan, i grew diascia back home and they survived the British climate, I'm looking for rigensis (again spelling). They flowered continuously through the summer and were so easy to propagate. Do you know them?
Sorry folks, gotta sign off for a minute...be back in a sec or 2 or 3....Lisa

Patty, i dont understand why.
louisa, i dont know it, i will look in my books, back in a minute or two.
Alan, what pub does she work in? The one near the market? I have forgotten the names of them, except for the Compleat Angler! Patty, I can imagine how much cows love to be milked - so you ARE up really early eh? Hey BTW Alan, does this mean that you might be taking a trip to Norwich :-)
Ummm ..... thought I'd posted a reply on here but I can't see it.Time difference,perhaps ?
Patty, I don't think they have met, but I could be wrong!
Alan lives quite some distance from them.
Ribbitcat - you did post earlier - scroll up some!

Patty, louisa, no i have never met them, were were talking about all meeting up at on of the big garden shows, perhaps we will yet, and ribbitcats married too, it seems all the best ones are, lol.
Then encourage her all you can Patty. If she loves animals that much, she would make a great vet. My daughter now wishes she had done that, instead of going into conservation - too much politics! I love goat cheese and especially the ones the Greks make! I don't think I've ever tasted American goat cheese.
Or even 'Greek' cheese ..lol
ribbitcat, there is one from you, it up the page a bit, when we get going they shift quicly here
