Perrysburg, OH(Zone 5a)

My rotten old computer finally kicked the bucket, so we broke down and got a Dell. Now the old computer wasn't capable of downloading and it didn't have windows or anything it was just basic internet access, so now I'm just as confused as can be, but happy!!! So I'll be asking you guys for alot of help!! This new one has soooo much stuff I don't know where to begin!!! can anyone recommend a good book for beginers???
Thanks alot,
Becky

There is one my friend had named Virtual Windows..or somthing like that...I liked it better than the "Windows for Dummies" book....can't remeber the exact name of it...but it was "virtual"...and had pictures to show you just how to do things. Jo

"Teach Yourself Visually" is available in several versions. I bought TYV Windows 95 because that's what I was using when I bought the book, but it has others. It shows pictures of computers, little drawings, text placed so it's easy to see at a glance what you want to know. I found the Dummies series confusing but this met my needs beautifully. Someone on here bought one on eBay for a fraction of the $25 I paid for a new one.
