Try www.weather.com/local and punch in your zip code.

It will hook you up with 2 week forecasts, current conditions and sat. pictures of weather fronts heading your way. Plus you can gear it for gardening.

As for the wx. radio, you can pick one up at Radio Shack starting at about $20...We have a couple of them at the ol' homestead......Dennis

Well, I'm a weather freak and constantly watch the weather and the forecast. Not only do I have AWS.com as my opening page on the puter but have 3 weather radios, one at the house, one in the shoffice, and one in my truck. I'm hooked eh? One of mine is from Radio Shack...it is so old the on/off button is barely there and the antenna is duct taped on. But it works and can get 3 different channels. My favorite one tho I just got last yr and was about $45....it gets 7 channels (great for when you're traveling), has two modes of weather alerts (a beeper alert and a quiet alert, no beeper but a lite that flashes). Also has the time/date, a thermometer, and an alert that you can set to come on at whatever temp you are watching (for example..I can set it to come on at 32* so I know to worry about the g-house or plants outside!) This is made by Oregon Scientic...I think I got it from Modern Farm off the web. (Their site is www.modfarm.com).
