I have this beautiful draping emerald green vine, cascading across the soffet of my back porch. A friend gave it to about three or four years ago. It was quite a large potato like root then, about the size of a large cocount. I have been told that most people in these parts or trying to get rid of this vine, not propogate it. How can I safely seperate this to make more vines without killing the whole thing. You see it on most all of the old historical homes in Huntsville Al. I live in the Pan Handle of Fl. It is hard to come by where this one came from as it is known as a historical plant of the south. You cannot beg borrow or steal this plant. Only from the goodness of the heart will someone share it with you.
Jackson Vine
Try layering it in the soil. If you want an illustration, mail me and I'll send you details!
