Joydie, My thoughts are with you. I hope your problems all get resolved. Hang in there. Like marclay said, perhaps container gardening is the answer.
Trying to get caught up
Oh, ouch, Joydie! I tore ligaments in my right ankle last May, and I can relate to both the pain and the frustration of having to see your plans grind to a halt while you recover. ((( hugs to you )))
How you doing jOydie
Joydie....I hope you are seeing some improvement. I know it can be really frustrating to see all that needs done and not be able to do it.

Hi,
Sounds like your really hurting. Sorry to hear that. As a Nurse Practitioner for many years, I know how depressing pain can be. Have you checked in with the Social Service Dept of your local hospital. Often times, they have a great deal of info on hospital and community supported programs and discussion groups that might help. There are also Pain Management Clinics in many areas that are really wonderful.
About your garden...My grand daughter has CP and is only 6, but loves plants. We set up a small card table for her with pots of dirt and seeds. It takes her awhile to use her fingers to plant them, but when they grow and bloom, it makes her very happy. So even a small area, and a few pots can be a wonderful "garden".
