why do all my postings say that it is not a new thread?

It always says, in the right hand box, New Message? NO! Well darn it, yes it is! Help! lol

I think it doesn't show your OWN messages as new...only when someone else replies to your message, or follows your reply with another one will it show up as new. Does that make sense?

Woodspirit, I have to refresh the page so anything new. (Maybe it's my set up but you may want to give it a try). I hit refresh constantly (F5), on every page I go into. It's amazing at what I was missing before doing this. julie

So, only stuff that you haven't yet seen is marked as new. It used to be the other way around, so that all messages were new regardless of whether you posted it or not. That annoyed and irritated me, so I changed it to the way it is now and feel like it works perfectly.

Anyone disagree? I suppose I could make it a preferences item so you can tell it not to behave this way.

I like the way it works. It makes it easy to see if I need to click on for a new add on or not. This program is so awsome that I even found myself explaining why I like it so much to my non gardening non computer using hubby! He didn't understand a thing I said but after all these years he has learned to smile encouagingly while he tunes me out...
