i want to divide and relocate my asiatic lilies, when should i do it? or can i just go in and dig up bulbs bulblets now, before the spring? i have never moved them, dug up bulbs, or divided them at all. this is their third year, and there are plenty of offshoots.
thanks.
asiatic lilies
You can do it now. I wait until they start growing just so I know where they are. You just need to be careful not break the growing stem off. Even then I think they'll be Ok... but you won't get blooms.
Thanks, Poppy Sue, so I guess I can just do that with pretty much any bulb, huh? Just dig them up now, if I want to move them? I'm looking forward to it, have some anemone 'de caen' that I want to move, it seems they are in too sunny a spot.
