Well, I'm propagating in earnest now! I have a 4x8'table full of domed flats, and the lights are hanging about an inch above the domes. The lobelia have been in for almost a month, as have the geraniums and impatiens, but now the leeks, petunias and dianthus are incubating as well! This evening, my DH is going to set up another 4x8' sheet of plywood and hook up the next set of lights for me. I have four more flats waiting to get started and many more to plant. I've been baking starter mix, washing containers, domes and flats, and misting like crazy...let the games begin!...WZ
Lights...starter mix...ACTION!
Weezin',
It's fun, isn't it?
I have flats of seeds under
my grow lights (in one end of our kitchen)
right now...even in our downstairs bathroom
(on top of a tall cupboard)
for that extra heat and humidity!
I'm planning on starting up our
greenhouse in a couple of weeks...
I'm with you...'can't wait! :-)
Oscarsdotter: Boy, I wish I only had a couple weeks to wait. My greenhouse is covered in snow at the moment, and the days are still pretty short anyway. I'm going to be gardening inside for another month or more before I can even get near the greenhouse! It's always exciting to see the little buggers pop up out of the ground like they are waking up all groggy from a nap!...WZ
