Unknown e-card

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

I just received an e-card from 'dustin'. I don't know a dustin but if anyone here has sent me this please let me know. I deleted the card in case it was suspect!!

That's weird Louisa..I got the same card and I don't know anyone either by that name...I also got a Null mail with a big attachment. Watch out!
Trish
ps..I just deleted them all.

I did the same - I did not open it - just deleted it.

I delete every single E-card I get upon receipts without even looking at who its from. I used to get burned on this almost every time, so I just ignore them now.

I got an email yesterday from someone I hadn't heard off. Something about berries I think. I think it was just gardening spam but I deleted it anyway.

Dave,

That explains why you didn't pick up the Thank you card I sent you.

Sharon

Sharon,

Oopsie - I'm busted. My browser crashes on almost every single ecard I go visit. :-( It takes me a while to recover from the crash, so I just quit altogether. I'm sorry I missed you card!

Dave,

That's okay. I know what you mean about browser crashes. I just get so frustrated when mine freezes up and I have to reboot.

I do get ecards from some close friends of mine. Can a hacker or spammer actually use the info and 'pretend' it's from one of my friends?

louisa: you bet!

Dustin is my 12 year old..

got on this am and there was alot of returned mail address not found. Asked him what he did last night, He says that they told me I could win a million dollars if I emailed this so I mailed it to everyone in your address book... Well He is grounded from the computer for a few days... Had a long talk with him and explained some stuff...

Chris, you're Dustin sounds like my 11 year old. My son is always trying to win a million bucks doing something! LOL Of course, at the moment he does have more money in his wallet than I do. The child saves his money and counts it every day in front of his 3 brothers that don't save a nickel. He really enjoys torturing them! LOL
