The last email I received from her was on 2/8 in regards to Bethany's fundraiser.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Wasn't she going to be really busy taking care of some of her DIL (?) 's buidlings cause she was having some surgery?
Seems I remember something like that.

Aimee, hope all is well with you

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

I think your right, Pebble..isn't her daughter named Tera?

"eyes"

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

NO, I don't think Tera is her daughter. Her DIL was going to need some help with her building though so she could take care of Tera and Aimee was going to help out. She's helped out before and has always been able to find time to e-mail, this is different, her ISP is saying that her account doesn't exist :(

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

She may be having ISP problems...a lot of people are right now.

Well, I just hope that she is Okay, doesnt she live way out in the country with no close neighbours and nests of fire ants all over the place....you dont think.....naaaaa......those ants couldnt have done anything to her could they?????

sorry - I couldnt help myself, she was talking about the fire ant dilemma in Texas in another post (which I cant find anymore) and my mind just wandered...

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I would call her but I have a long distance block on my phone :(
I found her number on the net.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Tera is probably still in hospital and Aimee has been helping do some work in the evening for her DIL. I would imagine she's catching up on her sleep during the day. I last heard from her about 4 days ago!!

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

AAAIIIIMMMMEEEEEE! Oh, AAAAAIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEE! Where are YOOOOUUUUUUUUU?! Flowox, I can call her if you want. If we don't hear from her by tomorrow evening, send me her number and I'll try. I agree it's probably ISP problems, especially if her e-mails are bouncing back.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Mommyof4dolls is trying to call her, has had no luck though and is only getting an answering machine :(

I do hope she's alright!!

Crossville, TN

Aimee, honey...Goldville needs you...no newspaper for days!

Heck, WE ALL need you...hurry back! Jo

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Aimee, Now I'm getting worried.....
I hope you're okay.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

I did try again to phone her yesterday but no luck!! I am getting more than a little concerned now!

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I'm getting pretty worried. I last spoke to her on Friday and she was very excited because of a package that she is expecting from me. She hadn't gotten it yet then but I'm sure it's there but no answer and I know a couple of you have tried to call and only get an answering machine. I'm really worried about her.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

So good to be able to report here that I am alive and well, and to have so many good friends to watch out for me! It's true, I live alone, and my DIL has noted that if I fainted in the pasture, the fire ants would build a mound over me before anyone could see me in the tall grass. This was a series of errors combined with a two day trip to San Antonio, so it's a happy ending. But if I had needed help, my friends were certainly getting into position to send it. I have concluded that I need to work on the issue of communication, so Susan and Margaret can get in touch with me almost any time. It's just downright touching to come home and find several calls on the call notes from people who were determined to make sure I was okay. I appreciate it more than you can imagine. Now, where did that Wally go with that piece of paper?

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

LOL Aimee!!

Crossville, TN

OH Miss Aimee...I'm so glad you're back! I need you to put an "announcment" in the Gold Standard for me!!! Jo

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Aimee, so glad you are doing well...I was worried about the fire ants, you know what an active imagination I have...

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Pebble, it's more accurate here than you might think. Small animals, even children, have been killed or seriously injured by aggressive attacks. These aren't your normal run of red ants, and the underground burrows are huge, so a warm body of any kind on the ground is likely to be swarmed by thousands of biting, stinging ants in a matter of minutes. I appreciate your imagination, because too many people fail to let their minds accept the reality. Just keep that ability, dear Pebble.
