A seedling out of a flore plena x Multihybrid cross. There are single and double flowers at the same time.
flore plena seedling in pink
gorgeous!!! Kyle, now you see why we keep talking about double pinks!!!!!!!!!!! although this seems to have a peachy rose to it? That's my ideal color, a peachy rose double.
I love that color!! it's beautiful.
Monika, this is just beautiful. I'm really getting excited about some brugs with some deep color. Thanks for posting.
Shirley
That is unbelievable, gorgeous!
Thanks for being here and trying to help us!

Tig,
There is a German site that has really PINK doubles that are candida hybrids, like a bright pink flower in a flower(hose in hose) :-)
brugcrazy thats the site. :-) Pretty doubles..guess I'll have to come out of retirement this summer and get started on some double candida type crosses.
Beautiful Monika - you just keep outdoing yourself!
way to go Kyle!!! someone in this group is going to do it this year, I know it.
Jeanne, are you saying that some people think those double pinks are fake? I sure wish we could order from them, but as far as I know they still aren't shipping to US, correct?
oh, I didn't think you meant them or just them. It's bad enough that we're sitting here wanting these, I want them to be real LOL!!
tiG..patience is a Virtue!!!we'll get there..... :-)
Oh my goodnes what a flower.
Oh Monika, What a beautiful flower!! Kyle, if Monika keeps showing us pictures like this one that trip to Germany might be closer than you think. LOL
I got a friend thats a travel agent!!!!!!!!LOL
i don't fly but i were going to it would certainly be to visit all those beautiful brugs in germany. btw, eclipse, wishing you luck and glad you're coming out of retirement! didn't you hybridize jamaican yellow? sunray and....?
There is indeed much doubt if these pink doubles on that website exist. If they do, there is even more doubt about who is the breeder.
The plants on the Kirchner - Abel site are claimed to be candidas but there are NOT. The only candida - like cross is my Rosa Zauber with much aurea Type, as the mother is aurea Rothkirch. We know the Kirchner - Abel plants only from large pictures in garden magazines, placed in 2000 as World hit. They are not for Sale. Kirchner - Abel told us last year that do not root at all and if they do, the growth is not more as 10cm in a year. Therefore they will be always a rarity. That the translation from their web site. Make your own mind about it! The above seedling has a strong orange touch while Rosa Zauber is a true pink. But I think that it still is a beautiful color and can always be improved by breeding to EP.
Monika, I don't know who does your photography, but just staring at that picture again, the flower is stunning, but the picture is also a work of art. You both do great work.
It is breathtaking, even my DH loved that one...
These are color slides. I dont use a digital camera because of the false colors. Book and magazine printers prefer color slides or good paper pictures.
Monika, that is really beautiful. Thanks for showing that to us. We are all drooling.
Monika, if you took that picture, you are as good a photographer as you are hybridizer.
both the photography and the subject are gorgeous.
Kyle, I wish you great success when you come out of retirement, and look forward to seeing your creations :)
Pebble as they say in Japan....Domo arrigato..Tanx!
Here is one that deserves another look.
this picture just jumps out at me!!! Which one is it?
Holy Cow!! I've got to have something like this. That color is awesome.
And Double,it is just killing me,I gotta move to Canada!!
Make room Liz!
Why are you moving to Canada Root??? I'll bet this year you'll be seeing lots of double pinks down there. But you're welcome to crash here anytime.
It is Super Rose.
WOW!
I may have to go North in the summer and South in the winter.
Stunning ... love this photo! Absolutely gorgeous Monika!!!
Just so beautiful, Monika. I love it.
It really is outstanding Monika.
LOL Susie, what did I tell you! I knew it was Monika! I can't stand to look at this one anymore. Every time I go down the brug page this one pic is so big and so beautiful it is calling my name.
She would look good in my garden. I'll tell you Monika, she really is a beaut.
