Hi Vineman. Just found this site and think it's fabulous.
I'm very interested in your Wisteria vines. How do we do this? Which zone are you in? Just got started landscaping last year, and am anxious to see which perrinials made it thru this unusual winter. Will be glad to share. Keep in touch.
Sayre
Sayre,E-mail me your address and I'll send you a live plant. You can send me the postage later.I do this computer stuff while I'm at work so I probably won't be here much longer tonight.

I'd be interested in some of your wisteria. Let me know if you still have some left. I can dig up some daffodils after they have bloomed if you're interested in a trade.
thanks/cheers

IF I STILL HAVE SOME LEFT???!!!Are You joking?I'll bag one up for you too this weekend.E-mail your shipping address to me. Don't get me wrong, whomever reads this,I happened upon this site(and a great site it is Dave & all)to try to find a use for, and possibly other things that could be made from, wisteria vine.I never realized that wisteria was endangered and rare across North America. You are all so nice here,I can't stop checking in,and I will continue to send wisteria to whoever wants it.Until the government makes me stop, that is.I figure at an average rate of growth, southern Canada and the lower 48 ought to be covered in the stuff by June 16 2024.
Hey Vineman,
I would love some of your Wisteria also. I have some "Tropicana" canna ryzomes that I could trade with if your interested. Let me know.
Donna
ps. What color do you have...purple or white??
Vineman,
Here is a site to view the "Phaison Tropicana"

I would like to try a wisteria here in Montana - I have a protected spot so may be able to make a go of it. Let me know where to send the postage! Thanks for offering to share. Lyndee
Good morning all!The following people still need to give their mailing adrress;Sayre,Marclay,SDoglover1512,Dizzy 45,pebble,SoCal,Lyndee.Shirley & Dori ,your boxes will be shipped Monday.I'm going to go with parcel post rate from the post office instead of priority,to keep the cost down.SoCal,NICE POST!!!I hope to have the greenhouse built this year, and start construction on the Tiki bar. Those plants would be perfect for the tropical mood I intend to create there!I'm just not ready for them right now,but thanks a lot!I'm going to remember this!
Hello vineman! If you still have any wisteria left, I would love to do a trade!
Hi Vineman
I rcvd the package today. What a treat. Loved the Giant Pine Cones!! Were they from your property ( know nothing about geography) The kids just loved them. Thanks for the wreath. Did you make that from your vines from the yard? I had purchased a grape vine from the store and it looks like it could be exactly that. It dosent really matter which it is as I am so into vines now and I dont have much that everythng is new to me. I will send your postage out tomorrow to the business address you sent to me.
This is so much fun! I know your in the process of clearing your land but would you be interested in an Elephant Ear ( in addition to the entire postage)??? Please let me know and will get one out to you along with the postage cash.
Thanks for the fun.
Janice
Janice,Thank you for the nice post!I'm glad you liked what I sent. The pine cones are from trees near by,my pines don't have cones that large. The vine did come from the yard, and I do think it's some sort of wild grape.Wisteria vine is a lot easier to work with.I would be so greatful to get an elephant ear plant,it would be great for the Tiki-bar area! Thanks and let me know if I owe you any money!
Vineman,
If you still have any left I'd love to have four of them. Are they rooted? I could send you some red cannas and I have lots of seeds if you'd be interested.
Nett

quynh
Hi Vineman
My friend just brought me 6 HUGE ears that she had bought. Not sure what the postage is to send it out to you but I know its nowhere near what you spent in postage. I will just have that posted and mail you the difference.
(Never saw such huge bulbs... cant wait to see how huge it grows.)
Will get that out to you tomorrow.
Janice
My wife would love to have one if you still have some.

STOP,STOP,STOP!!!That's all brother!I now have 8 older requests (with addresses) and 4 new requests(w/o addresses). That's enough work for me right now!The 4 new requests have yet to E-mail me their mailing addresses, and they are; Glen, rung4, guynh, and nett.NO additional requests for wisteria will be accepted until futher notice.I just don't have that much free time.Until I get caught up with the requests, and get some of my own things done, this will have to stop.Side notes, lantana, bad weather here this weekend, but yours WILL be the first one out as promised,Janice, big ears sound great!nett, red cannas sound great too and whoever has enough seeds?Glen, guynh, and rung4,I will get your plants to you as soon as possible, but please realize there are 10 other boxes to be filled ahead of you.Thank you to everyone for your interest and your patience.Vineman out.
LOL Vineman!! Sounds like you need to kick back and have a brewsky. Its tough being the popular guy with all the goodies!!
If I lived closer I'd come over and help ya get those things boxed up. Perhaps you should just post your addy and let everyone Serve themselves!! Bet your yard would be cleared in a day!
Well hope you have a good day :)
Janice
Janice, Not until the Tiki-bar area is completed, and believe me,I so want that done.

No,the idea is to be able to go to the carribean(complete with outdoor island music, flowing fountains, palm frond palapas, and of coarse,a fully stocked wet bar) and have a Bahamma-momma (or two)after any day's work that I see fit.
[ Removed per member request. - Admin]
I'll tell you tomorrow. It's time for me to go home.Nice chating, been really busy today.
Hey Vineman
I thought you were talking about Bahama Mommma CHICKS...not drinks. Was thinking you must be a hot daddy to be able to summon over 2 chicks on any given day you seem fit! LOL
Havent gotten you stuff out yet. I am a one woman show at work and I am exhaused. Will get that out Friday ( perhaps Thursday)
Janice

Patty,I keep forgeting to look up the recipe for the Bahamma-momma,but I will get it for you.Make sure you use GOOD rum.Kelp supplements for pets can be ordered through any self-respecting pet shop or feed & pet dealer. If feeding rations are not already on the container, the manufacturer's 800 number probably will be, and they will give you a suggested amount based on the type, weight and age of your pet.Harnesses are becoming the more preferred way of tethering a pet. They put less strain on the animal's neck, which is important, especially in certain breeds of dogs. Janice, I'm not even gonna go there.
[ Removed per member request. - Admin]
Whoa.Sorry Patty,I had no idea.I've checked with my feed distributors, they've heard of it,but no help beyond that. It's still mostly a west coast thing(to our knowledge anyway).Livestock harnesses, check Amish and/or Menenite sources.I'm possitive you'll find field work harnesses there. If it's buggy or driving harnesses you're after, find a tack shop near you that deals with a distributor named J.T.International (Indianapolis IN).They even have a miniature driving harness. Not much help today.
