could someone tell me how to make your own seed pack templates. I want to cut and paste the picture and growing instructions on each one. I found different ones with very cute pictures on them but recieved some in trade that looked almost professional. I can't figure out how to do this myself...
seed packs
Hi Chris,
Go to my have list. There you will find an entry for a blank seed envelope template. Click on the more info for the entry. Right click on the image and select save as. Save the image to your hard drive. Open or import the image into a desktop publishing program such as Print Shop Deluxe. There you can add text and graphics. For anyone who is interested, I can send them the file for Print Shop Deluxe Version 10 or higher as an email attachment. You will then be able to open the template as a project file in Print Shop Deluxe and add your own text and graphics. I have several envelopes already designed for Print Shop Deluxe. I can send these in a zip file as an e-mail attachment.
If you need any help or have any questions, just ask me.
Hope this helps!
Sharon
The files I can send are project files I have created. They are not the Print Shop Deluxe version 10 program. It is a registered program and can't legally be shared. Besides, it is 10 cds worth of files that can't be sent as an email attachment.
The only thing that can be sent are the project files I have created. They are available as a download collection at
http://davesgarden.com/members/smspear1/
They are also available as a download in section 2 of the help section of this site.
I'm sorry if there is any confusion as to what I can send.
Sharon
The download that is available will only open in Print Shop Deluxe version 10 or higher. Broderbund does not make their project files backward compatible. This is how they keep selling upgrades.
For those of you who do not have Print Shop Deluxe version 10 or higher, try this.
Go to my member page http://davesgarden.com/members/smspear1
Open my have list. There are 4 entries there for envelopes. If you click on the more info button for each entry, you will find the envelope for that entry and instructions on how to save them.
If you saved as a bitmap, which is most likely, you can open Windows Paint and open the .bmp file. Then you can print the envelope.
If you have another desktop publishing program, you should be able to import the .bmp file. You can then print from there. If you import the blank envelope as a .bmp file, you should be able to resize the .bmp and add your own text and graphics. If you import one of the other envelopes as a .bmp, the only thing you should be able to do is resize the .bmp and print it.
I hope this helps. I only wanted to share the files I had created. I did not intend to confuse any one on how to use these.
Sharon
