I live in Columbus,Ohio. What kind of peppers do you have and do you like hot peppers? I have already started a lot of my seeds keeping them in the house until March if I am lucky. We have had a mild winter so far but we did get some rain and thunderstorms with serious wind today, up rooting tress and anything that wasn't nailed down.
My neice came home to find one of her trees completely up rooted laying on the side of her house.

My niece just came back from LA with some hot peppers for me and beleive me I am going to plant some of the seeds. I have a small garden so I am limited to how many plants that I can squeeze in it. What kind of recipes do you have for them? You know we can star another thead in General Discussion here if you would like to share information.

Yes you can get information from me everything I know of it is compare to some others very limited but perhaps something
what is good for you to know is that you can grow many of the peppers in pots so you can moove them when they need moore place. They need from 3liters up to 10 liters pots it depends what kind you have and quite a lot of fertilizer. We have some plants that grow to 30 cm some up to 2 meters I think it is from about one foot to 6-7 feet high.Just now everyone is 1 cm high.

Roger... i believe we've meet on the International thread. i see u around a lot.

Jardin... if Lutefish is made from Cod, then it would be similar to Bacalao - the dried Cod fish from Spain! btw... i am originally from the Philippine Islands, where there is a strong influence of Spanish cooking. Bacalao is soaked in water for several days. then cooked with tomato sauce, olives and potatoes.

Shoe... i love pickled herring! btw... i, too is very adventurous in either cooking or eating food from other countries. when i was at school, student from different countries that i used to tutor, love to treat me to the delicacies their countries has to offer as far as food is concerned. and loved it too ;).

btw... i do grow havanero and caribbean red habanero or red Savina peppers too. those two peppers, i believe can not be any hotter than any peppers in existence. if not mistaken, their scovil ratings is somewhere in 200,000 ... http://davesgarden.com/showthread/133934.html ... http://www.chileplants.com/habredsavina.jpg
