Garden.com :(

Did anyone else order from Garden.com during their going out of business sale? Did you get your order? I placed an order on November 17th and had a confirmation number. I just now heard back from them that they had technical problems that day and my order was never placed! Not only had I ordered seeds, but I splurged and ordered a birdbath. Bo-ho, bo-ho :(

I had ordered around the same time. I ordered about 10 packets of seeds as well as (splurg) 3 live plants (3 different herbs).

About 1 week later, 2 of the live plants arrived.

2 weeks later, the seeds arrived. I never saw the 3rd plant.

Missing out on the seed bargain price doesn't bother. I'll either buy or trade for seeds. But 50% off on a bird bath, and no order, that bothers me. Now I'll have to pay full price for one or get a cheapie at Walmart. Oh well...

I saw the CEO of Garden.com on CNBC (the stock market channel). They praised him for the orderly demise of the company, instead of the usual chaos and sudden dissappearance. It wasn't perfect but we were warned it was all over but the crying by Jan. 1, 2001. I miss the ability to chat. I much prefer to just message boards like this. Is this possible at Dave's ?
