It's Snowing Cat's and Dog's

(Zone 5a)

We are now getting what you southerners have been having, I guess old man winter is not going to forget us after all lol. We have about 3"-4" of snow and it is still going strong, I hate to hear what the weather man has in store for us this coming week.
I wish the OB was feeling better, I would like to have a good old fashion snow fight and then build a snowman.
We have a snow battle every winter, of course I cheat and make snow balls and hide them behind the whiskey barrels, so when he comes out I start to clobber him. A girl has to take the upper hand or she will loose the battle lol.

Windy I would willingly trade you my ice for your snow!! Remember now, it's keeping all your babies warm :-)

We had a bunch of snow, but it's melting now. This is the kind I like, doesn't hang around too long. The little birds sure were hungry and I had to hurry and get out there with seed to fill the feeders.

:) Bring it on! I love a good winter snowstorm. I'm sure a lot of you love summer, but I dispise heat and humidity so bad I sweat just standing still. I'd rather throw on three layers of clothes and roll down a snowy hillside anyday.:)

I posted a view out my apartment window onto the street I live on in 'photos'.

jennifer I am 150 mies west of you in Fayette Co and we have heavy snow. About ten inches fell from 12 30 to 4 30 and still snowing. The plows are not coping and now lines are coming down. Too many accidents to even vount this afternoon. Can you imagine why people go out when they called for this for days now?

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

marclay - nobody knew exactly when it was coming, and the NWS still hasn't increased their predictions - according to them, I should have the amount of snow total that's already on the ground.

My guess is a lot of folks went on with their daily Sunday routine, since nobody could predict when it would start. By the time they were out having their day, it was too late.

Besides, if everybody would slow down, and proceed with caution, there's really no reason to hide inside. The weather here is nothing a 4x4 can't handle, imho.

I guess your right Louisa I would rather have the snow and good luck with your trees.

Cala your lucky, poor little bird here couldn't see how to fly in this snow.

You got it Jennifer, I will make sure to tell the weather man to reroute it all your way, and thanks for taking it off my hands lol.

Marclay I guess I shouldn't complain....whew weeee!
