My Favorite Christmas Gift

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

A set to 10 metal charger plates, painted dark green with silver poetry my daughter painted on them. Just wanted to share the ones she wrote on mine and DH. Mine first:
"Dear Momma, What wonder, what splender this gardener sows. She loves her small patch - made sure it thrives and it grows...On Amanda, on Zachery, on Benjamin and Sarah, on Hannah, on Teresa, on Dougie, Jennie and even Larry!
How does this storybook garden of love end? Do not blink...With this fine lady, Quite wonderful - we think"!
Love Always,....
And here is PaPas:
"Dear Daddy, Celebrations at home are always a special treat; There's lots of love and care put into everything we eat. Perhaps the most special to me is not so much the place, but in the way you make us feel whenever you say Grace! I love you "...

Now you've got to know the tears come readily everytime I read these. She made one for each family member with their name and a pretty border design. We must have done something right!!

How lovely azalea - you will treasure those for life to be sure!! My favourite gift was in the form of a card and 4 pictures of 4 beautiful little girls :-)

after reading your post.
How proud you must be. :-)

Yes - I am so proud I am silly over our family. I was an only child and I swore I would never raise just one - it was very lonely. I guess that's part of the reason I can't believe how luckey I am to have them all. TIG did you mean a pic of the plates or the DD?? I don't know how to post it on here, so will ned to go to photos, right??

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd love to see both!! I'll catch you in photos.
