Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Jim please keep it there!! I think we may just miss the worst of it but Carol 17 is preparing to hole up for a few days I think - she's stocking up for a month...lol!! It might even stop her from going to Ohio and that would be a shame!! (I might be laughing on the other side of my face tomorrow...)

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Coming down pretty good here too just South of Atlanta, we have about 1/2 inch so far. Our temp is abiut 35 so the roads are still ok but will probably freeze and get dangerous tonight. I'm sorry for those that have to get out - me, i will just sat in and hibernate. Got to make the required chili or veggie soup for snow days.

Pittsburgh, PA(Zone 6a)

Blum, TX(Zone 8a)

Hey jim! I just saw the news report of the snow in lagrange! I said to myself georgia red clay lives there! we were getting "grains" of snow here.we,too, seldom get the fairy dust, didn't stick.you got quit a lot! I see! so beautiful when fresh, but such a mess when it melts.Have fun while it lasts.

Montrose, PA(Zone 5a)

No snow here . It must be everyone in the south are getting it. the only reason I want snow is to protect my plants!

Surry, VA(Zone 7b)

The snow is supposed to start around midnight and last until tomorrow night. At first we were going to get 4"-6", then 6"-8", and now according to the National Weather Service it's 8"-12". The amount of snow accumulation predicted here keeps growing faster than the weeds in my summer garden! lol

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

We had a light dusting of it some time during the morning hours, but I slept through it. You really had to look close to see it, as it was just the least bit on a few things in the back yard. But it's plenty cold. I should have a good peach crop for the varmints to steal from me, as the peach trees require a certain number of hours of cold to produce. Now I need it to warm up just a day so I can prune them, then get cold again to keep the insects from invading.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Hey Jim!! It's about 8:38pm and we have gotton a pretty good bit here. The road was fine eariler but since nightfall the cars have slowed waaayyy down so I guess that means the roads are getting slick. I live on one of the main road here and it was fine all day seemed as though the snow was melting as soon as it landed. but now...the roads are covered!! yikes!!!!! I am glad I went out to the store today before all of this really set in here!
Did you hear we are expecting more this weekend??

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Hey Tink, I'll have to pass the word around about our city making big time news. The sun has just come out and it really is beautiful.
Molly I heard that also about more this week end. Maybe it will hold off until Monday, I have to work this week end and would hate to lose the overtime I made working on the 31st and 1st.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

DH & I just finished making a Snowman tall as me with a flowerpot hat no less! Had to go in to warm up a bit, looked out the window and he had already fallen over - RATS. We haven't had much practice, need to go prop him back up. Haven't had a snowman here for 15 years since the kids left!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)
