I have become a proud mother

of a new website for my Red Hat Society. After spending long hours scanning photos fixing photo's and downloading uploading and sometimes it seemed like side loading I have put up the website for the society and have become the Web Mistress. The late hours I have been keeping doing this it is a true statement;)) lol have a peek if you have the time. thanks Miz Cat

I only have one argument...I think the red hats suit y'all. One day I will have the courage to post our "tea" party pictures...the Tea Party began about 5 years ago as a celebration "tea" for my neice...the only rule of dress was that you should become a little girl again and play "dress up". Well, that leaves the imagination wide open. And hats are required. I haunt thrift stores and costume shops all year for the annual event. No men are allowed. Of course, we serve more than the "tea", and things do get a bit noisy. But it is a very joyous occasion that we look forward to all year. Very akin to the Mad Hatter's tea party in Alice's Wonderland.

Lantana I'm with you - I think the red hats DO suit these lovely ladies! Nor do they look old enough to wear purple, with red hats that don't match (so they must be starting early!) What fun!!!

Thank you for sharing the pictures, Miz_Cat!!!!

Hi there my friends please could you update your bookmarks or favourites this is the new url for The First Toronto Chapter of the Red Hat Society. Don't ask something happened...I don't know what with the other url I can't get there cause they said I spammed. You know I only sent out 3 letters and one was to all the members of the TO Red Hatters a mass mailing I think that's what did it. Geesh computers make me crazy.....all that work gone for nothing. Thank heavens it was all saved. We, hubby and me had to upload all the jpegs, gifs and pages to the new url. I am not a happy camper I tell you. :/

Oh dear! Thank goodness you had saved it all, Miz_Cat.
