Mark it is too precious!! I will grow them soon! Better 'in the green' than by seed huh? How long before I can expect my wooded area to be taken over by these darlings.

hi Louisa

it can take up to 4 years to get a snowdrop to flower from seed. the quickest way is to buy them 'in the green' and replant them in clumps of 6 or so. they will quickly divide and form a drift. I was at someones house last weekend to see their 10s of 1000s of snowdrops in huge drifts across the lawn. they took 30 years to multiply. I didn't have my camera with me, DOH!! but there is always next year.

I don't think you can buy them 'in the green' here, unless I dig up someone's garden!!
