A nice little boy surprised his grandmother one morning by bringing her a cup of coffee before she had gotten out of bed. He had made the coffee himself for the first time and he was so proud of himself. He anxiously waited to hear grandma’s verdict on the quality of the coffee.

Grandma took a sip of coffee and tried her best not to grimace. The coffee was the worst she had ever tasted but she managed to say, “This is so nice!”

As she forced down the last sip, she noticed three of those little toy green army guys in the bottom of the cup. She asked, “Honey, why would three little green army guys be in the bottom of my cup?”

Her grandson replied, “You know, grandma. It’s like on TV... The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup.”
