I'll be going away for a week for Christmas, so just want to wish you all a blessed Christmas, and peace and joy in the new year.

Thanks all for your warm wishes - we got back safe and sound.

My family (Mother, brother and sister, along with DH, sister-in-law and 16 month old nephew)and I spent Christmas together for the first time in nearly 20 years, as we're spread from one corner of Australia to the other.

It was great to catch up, only it seems that the little fellow has come down with chicken pox since we left - not good, as the poor little thing has been sick since before he was born - has only one kidney that only part works. He's a real sweetie, though, and it was great to see him enjoying his first Christmas where he was old enough to understand what was going on.
