CLOSED: Are these spiders Uloboridaes ?

Hello everyone !

These spiders started appearing in my garden (south of France, in the lands but 20 kilometers from de mediterranean) these past two months. My grandmother said she never saw that kind before and she's been living there for more than 70 years now, but her memory cannot really be trusted nowadays...

The spiders are only present on yuccas.

After a few searches it seemed to me that they could be from the Uloboridae family, but they could also be from the Araneidae are they are quite common in the vineyards in the area, though I've never seen any looking like that.

If someone could tell me what they are, I have been wondering for weeks now.

Yesterday (I took the pictures today), it rained a lot. After the rain one of these little fellows was taking the water out of the silk pouches with its mouth to spit it outside. It went on for at least one hour. I really enjoyed watching it.

Thank you in advance to whoever might help !

It's an orb weaver, possibly Cyrtophora citricola -

Thank you for your answer Flapdoodle. Ot could well be. After checking the wikipedia page it seems the species has been spotted for the 2nd time ever in my area in 2019.
After having read this same article I am a little worried that it could invade a whole part of the garden or damage the plants after a while. Should I be worried ?

I don't think that you need to worry about them damaging plants.

Thank you for your answers.
