I have a couple old lavenders that are woody and this year have no new growth. I have never cut them back. If I cut them back now will they get new growth? Or or they dead now? I live in Ohio and they have always been beautiful.
Old lavenders
Lavenders have a lifespan and it sounds like yours have reached the end of the road. Best to remove and replace.
