What might this be?

Its eye pattern is consistent with that of ground spiders (Gnaphosidae), but its legs seem more long and slender than usually seen in that family. If I can come up with anything different, I'll get back to you.

Good catch - I'm embarrassed not to have thought of that; the eye pattern for some species in Corinnidae and Gnaphosidae can appear quite similar. This specimen could be in the corinnid genus Creugas; see https://www.flickr.com/photos/biodiversidadpr/29241309593 for an example.
