The first one looks like a spider to me but I don't have any other shots. Can it be ID'd?

"Green grasshopper" is all I could come up for #2 but thought I'd run it past you since that seems so generic. The legs are so long! Thank you

Your first example does appear to be a spider, but the image quality is insufficient for me to hazard an identification. Your second one is in the family Tettigoniidae; it looks like a meadow katydid.
