Found 2 of these at the base of my garage under some boxes

It's one of the so-called 'false widow' spiders in the genus Steatoda. They belong to the same family as true widow spiders (Theridiidae). Some species can deliver a quite painful (personal experience) but not dangerous bite. They are not aggressive, but will bite defensively.
